Traveling from state to state or country to country has its perks. One perk is learning about new people and observing their way of doing things. Taking a break from the clutter of the brain, hubby and I took a first class flight out of Chicago to the east coast for a week long intensive training that was also a spiritual retreat.
During this intensive what really stood out for me was how so many people neglect self-care, what it takes to live a healthy lifestyle with longevity in view, and self-improvement strategies that I use in my coaching.
At times I felt as if our mind was about to explode from a knowledge overload. Our brain being apart of our body has its own way of processing the knowledge to be used long after the event.
Getting to your destination after traveling is one thing but fueling your body while you are there, is another thing. Before you notice it, you can return home 5 lbs., heavier than when you left. I’m certain you wouldn’t like that at all.
Traveling and eating healthy used to be very stressful for me especially since everyone doesn’t cook like you. Even restaurant cuisines can vary from state to state or country to country.
So what has been serving me and the clients that I work with is having a plan of action. What can you have on hand for a healthy breakfast to get your morning started? What can you do?
Establish A Plan Of Action
Once you established this plan of action which starts with your mindset, don’t budge no matter what! Trust me, you will be fine. It’s just that your body can’t handle a lot of changes especially if you are trying to keep your weight under control.
