Loving Yourself Immensely, 5 Ways To Honor Yourself When You Are Trying To Lose Weight

“Loving you is easy cause you’re beautiful” the voice of an American songbird always uplifts my soul.

When I am browsing other websites sometimes I come across very enlightening information.

Which tends to cause a shift in my thinking of well-being means in a deeper sense.

At these moments I am completely touched by the content, that I have to share it with my audience.

This is an article that I’ve discovered while reading USA Magazine, it speaks of the how to lose weight in a natural way and the importance of loving for yourself along the journey.

Love for yourself is the most overlooked, but crucial element to healthy living.

Here are 5 Ways To Honor Yourself When You Are Trying To Lose Weight.

1. Make quiet time for you

To truly show that you love yourself, sacrifice time to do something that you enjoy.

That you can do alone and feel good about loving yourself. When your world is quiet you can brainstorm how you will reach your next health goal.

Wearing the chicest comfortable to your skin loungewear at the end of your day, helps your body immediately relax.

2. Include gourmet delicious food

Starting your day eating the right combination of foods to nourish your body by writing out your weekly menu.

Upgrade the selection of foods you eat compared to what you normally eat. Experiment giving your taste buds new chic recipes that don’t require a lot of time.

Dripped to your inbox with recipes and cooking class instructions.

Would an upgrade like that make life easier for you?

In all honesty, following a lifestyle or diet program because you hate your body and want to change is not a good way to start.

Having the right mindset is so important to lasting changes.

3. The right mindset allows you to dream

It’s important to start with a positive mind as it’s the only way to a positive outcome.

What is your BIG why? Have an intent and plan to accomplished your goal at the end of the day.

  • How do you want to look in your clothes?

  • How do you want to feel on any given day?

  • What will you do differently that you can’t do now?

4. Positive Body Image

You need to be aware of the fact that it is your body and you should accept it and love it.

In an interview with Time, Meryl Streep remarks on sexual harassment issues throughout her career; “I have experienced things, mostly when I was young and pretty. Nobody comes on to me [now]…”

Have you ever felt or commented, “when I was young and pretty…”?

If you aren’t satisfied with how your body looks, start taking care corrective measure to change what you don’t like and soon you will see positive changes.

In  3-6 month you can change the way you look in 3 or 6 months you can be the best you, healthy, beautiful and happy.

Imagine discovering new ways to eat healthy, new clothes, feeling confident as you travel.

5. Feeling comfortable in your skin

You should never set goals that are linked to clothing size or with a number on the scale.

Make a goal that is not linked to a size, since designers size change based upon demand.

Make small goals that are attainable, to start 1lb each week if you live a sedentary lifestyle. Here is a visual to how weight loss happens.

If your life is:

  • Easy, you can lose 0.5 lb per week

  • Moderate activity, you can lose 1 lb per week

  • Push yourself, out of your comfort zone lose 1.5 lb per week

  • Get your heart rate up, push through every burn you can lose 2 lb per week

Reaching your goal will come through consistency even when you have setbacks.

By doing so you won’t feel pressured or discouraged but loving yourself will be the outcome of your journey.

Start with something simple, like running, walks in nature to galleries or take dancing lessons.

Being in the wellness & food service daily I find it necessary to indulge myself in self-care by categorizing it into the type of experience that I want to have.

We are often told to put on our masculine in the workforce but it seems rather unnatural if you call out and work internally in a feminine state of being.

It’s rather exhausting trying to have 2 personas.

If you give too much to something that is unnatural for you it is stressful.

Because at the end of the day, you’re the most important thing in your life.

TAKE CARE OF YOU. You can create a negative environment by not showing the self-love and care that you so rightly deserve.

So do a lifestyle audit. Break unhealthy habits & conditions.

Look at what isn’t working in your health care arsenal & change it!

Experts explain that one change at a time is enough.

It is advisable to add one new healthy habit every second week as on that way you won’t be overwhelming for you.
